Talwren, 846.

The planar intersection brought about by the Voda-Kahnta, or Void Blade, has brought much of Talwren to its knees. The people of Veros are restless; in the absence of a king, countless political parties have risen to power, further fragmenting the already weak kingdom. In Ghanos, The Merge has brought about a strange and powerful new ore that is being mined and fashioned into deadly weaponry… Weaponry that has become the centerpiece of bloody trade along the border.

Kihanis suffers worst of all: It has lost its noble King, Darius Veylion-Warsynth, and the heroes who had once fought to keep him alive are now considered terrorists by The Planar Knights of Equilos. Queen Nekosa Veylion has made matters worse by defending the former heroes. The Royal Guard is in shambles, overextended and subject to corruption… Corruption that has allowed many terrorist groups to take hold in small towns all over the Kingdom.

And So…

Unlikely Heroes (aren’t they always) arrive in one such small town… A quaint little villa by the name of Bephto, where a mysterious death requires investigation…
